Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
  • 7:00 AM: Depart from Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive to Samburu, passing through Kenya’s central highlands.
  • 1:00 PM: Arrive at your lodge or camp and check in.
  • 1:30 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
  • 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Head out for your first game drive, spotting Samburu’s unique wildlife and admiring the rugged terrain.
  • 7:00 PM: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
  • 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Early morning game drive along the Ewaso Ng’iro River, when animals are most active.
  • 9:30 AM: Return to the lodge for breakfast.
  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Relax at the lodge, enjoy the pool, or participate in optional activities like a guided nature walk.
  • 1:30 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
  • 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Afternoon game drive to explore more of the reserve, looking for predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 3: Samburu – Nairobi
  • 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Final early morning game drive to catch the sunrise and any remaining wildlife action.

  • 4:00 PM: Arrive in Nairobi, marking the end of your Samburu adventure.
